Biography:

Shaykh Tariqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Founder of Dawateislami, Hazrat Allama Maulana Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas Qadri was born on 26th Ramadan 1369 AH on Wednesday,12th July 1950 in Bombay Bazar Khara Dar area of ​​Bab Al Madina (Karachi) of Pakistan shortly before sunset.

ForeFather:

    His Forefather was from the village of "Katiana" in Junagarh, India. The good name of your grandfather "Abdul Rahim" was famous all over "Katiana". After the formation of Pakistan, his parents migrated to Hyderabad, Pakistan, and then move to Karachi.

                     His late grand father's name was "Haji Muhammad Hashim" and his grandmother's name was "Halima"

       Haji Abdul Rahman Qadri, the father of  Ameer-e-Ahle-e-Sunnat was a pious man. Praise be to Allaah. According to the Sunnah, there was a handful of beards. He used to keep his eyes down and he used to memorize many hadiths. There was no greed to accumulate worldly wealth. Amina, the mother of  Ameer-e-Ahle-e-Sunnat, was a virtuous and pious woman.

Father Death:

 Ameer-e-Ahle-e-Sunnat was one and a half or two years old when his father was called to Madinah. Therefore, in 1370 AH, he took the Hajj journey.

        During the days of Hajj, there was a severe heatwave in Mina Sharif, as a result of which many pilgrims were martyred and many went missing. Amir Ahl-e-Sunnat's father was also among the missing, who could not be found even after a search.

                           He was eventually found in critical condition in a hospital in Jeddah. He had a fever and in this condition, he passed away on 14 Dhu al-Hijjah al-Haram 1370 AH.

Caliphate and permissions:

      Amer-e- Ahl-e-Sunnat Moulana Ilyas qadri is the caliph of Hazrat Mufti Waqaruddin Qadri. He was also given permission by Mufti Sharif-ul-Haq Amjadi for the caliphate and books and hadiths of Salasil Arba Qadria, Chishtiyah, Naqshbandiyah, and Suhwordia.  

    You have got Khilafah from many other great scholars and leaders of the Islamic world.  

          Ilyas Attar Qadri became a murid of Qutb-e-Madina Allama Ziauddin Madani, a disciple of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan.

Education:

    Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat chose the study of books and the companionship of scholars as one of the means of acquiring knowledge.
            In this regard, he made the most use of the Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Hazrat Allama Mufti Waqaruddin Qadri Rizvi.
 Mufti Waqar-ud-Din Qadri Razavi even granted his caliphate permission in April 1984 in his hometown Gulberg Town, Bab-ul-Madinah, Karachi. It is well known that Amir-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat is the sole caliph of Mufti Waqar-ud-Din in the world.
